At Agastya Academy, the Pongal celebration with the children unfolded with joy and excitement. The festivities commenced with the active participation of children in preparation of Pongal and vibrant Rangolis at the tree house. The school grounds were filled with laughter as children of all grades participated in various activities. Children also fed the cow celebrating their value in our tradition. The celebration featured traditional prayers and insightful talks by the teachers, and active engagement from students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Vibrant performances, including songs, poetry, dances like Kummi, and a lively play by the fifth-graders, showcased the talents of the students. The celebration came to an end by the shared enjoyment of delicious Pongal, building a sense of unity and joy among all the participants.
