Parenting Workshop (Parenting Teens - Challenges and Solutions)

On 17th July 2024, Agastya Academy hosted a highly engaging and insightful parenting workshop titled "Parenting Teens - Challenges and Solutions." The workshop was conducted by our esteemed school counselor, Ms. Nagapriya, and was attended by 80 parents of students from grades 6 to 12. The session was designed to address the various challenges that come with parenting teenagers and to provide effective strategies for managing these challenges. Ms. Nagapriya shared her expertise on a range of topics, including communication techniques, setting boundaries, and understanding the emotional needs of teenagers. One of the highlights of the workshop was its interactive nature. Parents actively participated, asking numerous questions about specific issues they were facing with their children. Ms. Nagapriya offered practical advice and solutions, creating an open and supportive environment for all attendees. Parents also shared their feedback and experiences, adding to the richness of the discussion. Many expressed their gratitude for the valuable insights and felt more equipped to handle the complexities of parenting teenagers. The workshop successfully equipped parents with valuable tools for supporting their teenagers.
